How to register
Requirements for heat and frost insulator apprenticeship programs vary across Canada. In most provinces and territories, you must be at least 18 years old and have completed a Grade 12 level of education, or equivalent, to register in a heat and frost insulator apprenticeship program. High school courses in math, science and English are recommended.
Apprenticeship training programs for heat and frost insulators are available in all provinces and territories except Manitoba.* To register as an apprentice, contact your provincial or territorial government office of apprenticeship and training:
